I can't believe that the fair starts in less than a week! I'm going to be there on opening day!!! Won't want to miss that 40 foot banana split or the Red Neck Games!! It's going to be hilarious and fun!

Everyday there is tons of new and exciting entertainment planned. Check out the schedule for the full line-up.

The GDS Fairgrounds is home to many fun events this Spring and Summer.

Flea Market

May 24th - ONE DAY ONLY. Starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. Contact Paula DeEsch for more information.

Bluegrass Festival

June 20 - 22, 2008. Bring your RV or Tent. Electric and Water available. Contact Carroll Krautter for more information.

Antique Car Show

July 13, 2008. Opens early (8:00 AM) and ends late. Contact Frank Martin 570-689-3024 for more information.

Craft Show

July 19, 2008. Opens at 10:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. Contact Paula DeEsch for more information.

Well we are in full swing in planning this year's fair. Our schedule is set and there is some great entertainment planned. See our schedule page on our website for the entire line-up. New information will be added to the website weekly, so be sure to bookmark www.gdsfair.com to make it easy to return often.

The only part that is not fun is when it's time to leave! That's when my kids are begging me to stay longer and asking - "When are we coming back!" The food is great, the rides are perfect for my kids, and the entertainment and activities are fun too. Please let us know your thoughts on this year's fair - the 90th GDS Fair! We would love the feedback.

Visit our website again after the fair is over and fill in our survey. We will be posting it sometime within the next few days on our website.
